New branch

seca is opening a branch in Brazil in July 2013. With the establishment of seca Precisão para Saúde Importação e Exportação Ltda. in São Paulo, the global market leader and innovator in medical measuring and weighing is pursuing its expansion strategy and increasing its international presence.

Robert M. Vogel, seca Managing Director for Sales & Marketing, said, “The rapidly growing health care industry in Brazil makes the country an interesting market with promising potential for us. With our branch in São Paulo we can now offer the best possible service locally and intensify our personal contact to users.”

The general manager at the Brazilian branch is Leandro Ascaneo, who has many years of industry and market experience. His main responsibilities are providing sales and marketing support to trade partners and managing the product registration process. With training sessions in the São Paulo showroom or at the customer’s site, Mr. Ascaneo will address the needs of doctors and skilled medical personnel. He will also meet this target group at regional trade fairs and medical conventions as he establishes and expands the seca presence in Brazil.
