What are the circumstances that influence a BIA measurement?
In general, it can be said that customers/patients with electrical devices in the body (e.g. pacemakers) should not be measured with the seca scale. This means that devices such as blood pressure monitors or blood glucose meters should either be turned off or taken off. This is purely a precautionary measure so as not to damage the equipment. Purely metallic devices (e.g. TEPs) have no influence on the measurement or the health of your patient/customer. There is also a chapter on this topic in the instructions for use.
No measurements allowed:
- Pacemaker
- active prostheses (with electronics)
Measurements allowed:
- TEP ("Coiling")
- Stents
- Blood glucose meter (turned off or taken off)

All persons over the age of 5 can be measured with the scale (>= 130cm). However, the evaluation of all possible measurement parameters offered is only possible for persons in the age group of 5 to 85 years, as there are no comparison groups for the calculation for the other age groups.
Can I easily change the location of the device?

As a trainer/doctor/admin, how do I create a patient/student member in "seca analytics 125"?
On the start page of "seca analytics 125", the "Create new patient/customer" field must be used. Once the fields of the form have been filled in and saved, the patient/customer appears in "Patient (customer) management" and can be edited by clicking on the three dots in the line of the created patient/customer. Access for the patient/customer is granted by using the "Access via seca myAnalytics" function. The e-mail sent must be processed within 24 hours, otherwise the process must be repeated.
Important: If an integration is used, the patients/student members are created via the respective partners (e.g. for Egym via the trainer app). You then log in to the seca scale by scanning the chip and take a measurement. Once this has been successfully sent, a user is automatically created in "seca myAnalytics". Access must still be granted to the customer by e-mail.
How can I load my company/practice logo into "seca analytics 125"?
Open the menu via the three dashes at the top left. Click on "Administration" and then on "Select PDF logo". Now upload your logo in PNG format and with an aspect ratio of 4:1.
What is the difference between the two applications?
The patient/study member has access to their own measurements via "seca myAnalytics" and can manage their own account.
The trainer/doctor has access to all measurements via "seca analytics 125", can create users and patients/study members and assign measurements to them. In general, the administrative work is carried out in this area.

How do I change or transfer the IDPs (identification number, to be found under names) of patients/customers in "seca analytics 125"?
1st option
The patient created must be searched for via the "Patient (customer) administration". After clicking on the three dots on the right-hand side of the line of the name with the IDP to be changed, the item "Change IDP" can be selected. Here you can transfer the old IDP (e.g. from the lost wristband or the old account) to the new one (new wristband or new account). To do this, the new IDP must be entered under "Search for patient/customer" and the other self-explanatory steps must be completed. Once this process has been completed, only the desired IDP will exist; the old one does not need to be deleted separately.
2nd option (assign individual measurements)
The "List of all measurements" can be called up. The patient/student member who has stored the measurement on the IDP to be changed must be searched for. After clicking on their name, the measurements are listed. The old measurements that are to be assigned to the new IDP can be changed by clicking on the three dots and selecting "Edit". In the window that opens, click on the pencil next to the name and select "Assign measurement to another patient/client" to change the IDP.
Important: For measurements with integration (e.g. Egym, Hector, etc.), the data of the old and new results can only be compared in "seca analytics 125". Transfer to the integration partner is no longer possible after 24 hours from the measurement.
Can I change the selection parameter display in "seca analytics 125"?
Under the menu item "List of all measurements" and after calling up any measurement, trainers/doctors/admins can select the presentation of the results from a drop-down menu with predefined selection parameters (set to "all selection parameters" by default). These predefined parameters cannot be edited. The "Create new selection parameter" function contained in the drop-down menu, which is listed last, allows you to create your own representations. The individual parameter tiles can be moved on the PC. This also determines their displayed position in the PDF intended for a printout. It is not possible to reposition the parameter tiles on a smartphone or tablet.
Important: When creating an evaluation module, individual measurements and progress measurements must always be ticked off, as this does not happen automatically. An evaluation module is only valid for the logged-in account. This means that customers cannot access the evaluation modules created by the admin (or vice versa), but must create the appropriate module themselves.
