The medical Body Composition Analyzer seca mBCA is state-of-the-art body composition analysis. International studies (current status: seca studies) validated the seca mBCA against the gold standard and documented the medical precision of the device’s measurements. In the treatment of obesity, the doctor uses the seca mBCA to measure the patient’s fat mass. Then he calculates energy stores and determines the patient’s energy consumption per day to devise a weight loss diet. The seca mBCA shows whether the goal of fat reduction and muscle mass increase has been achieved. The patient is motivated when he knows that even though his weight is not changing, his body composition is developing positively.

seca is presenting the seca mBCA at Stand 20/21 in the exhibition held in conjunction with the ECO 2013. All congress attendees are invited to have their body composition analyzed in a measurement that takes less than 20 seconds.
