ESPEN 2013:

BIA completely accepted by nutritionists

22 October 2013 - Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) is a topical issue in nutrition medicine. That was made clear by the crowds at the seca BIA Workshop “Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis in Malnutrition and Obesity: Meet the Experts” at ESPEN in Leipzig. Nutritionists were eager to hear research results and information about clinical application of BIA directly from the experts. The list of speakers read like a Who’s Who of researchers working in body composition analysis with BIA. All seats in the auditorium were quickly filled, leaving standing-room only for the overflow crowd of 50.
